This year, our economy has been rattled by COVID-19, which has caused the loss of jobs for millions of Americans. At the same time, people are taking this time to reconnect with themselves, their families, and to re-evaluate what’s personally important for the next phase of their professional journey. In essence, people now have the time to focus on what truly makes them happy, creative, and inspired professionally.

Finding inspiration and growth within the Salesforce ecosystem

Salesforce skills are becoming a sought after piece of planning the next professional chapter by millions of people. Salesforce skills currently lead the tech industry in salary and job growth. Individuals with these skills obtain an average wage of more than $80,000 per year (source: Trailhead Career Paths). Millions of people have turned to Salesforce training to build rewarding careers leveraging award-winning technology to enhance business operations and better connect customers and communities. The amount of people entering the Salesforce ecosystem is dramatically growing each month. Per Salesforce, 4.2 million jobs will be created within the Salesforce ecosystem by 2022.

Connecting people and communities to Salesforce careers and available training

As a partner within the Salesforce ecosystem, zPaper has and continues to achieve growth through technology and diverse teams with Salesforce experience. Through zPaper’s Build Together Initiative, the company provided free kickstart sessions to provide information about the Salesforce ecosystem, available careers, skills, and certifications.

Each session provided up to 1 hour of 1:1 time with a zPaper team member. During this time attendees received a variety of information based on needs such as:

  1. Introduction Salesforce and a quick overview of our team's personal Salesforce journey.
  2. An introduction to the Salesforce platforms
  3. Review of your individual skills sets and professional goals
  4. Walkthrough of the Salesforce careers and certifications
  5. Walkthrough of learning resources such as training guides and organizations that provide accessible training.

All of this was completed during volunteered lunch hours.

The amount of positive feedback we’re a true reflection of how leveraging the skills and knowledge from the Salesforce Ohana family could make a huge difference by giving people hope and a renewed sense of excitement for the future of the careers.
